Seeking an immigration associate.
Advise, counsel, and train clients on immigration laws and regulations: represent employers before DHS, DOL and DOS in employment-based immigration matters; prepare all types of employment-based immigration applications for nonimmigrant and immigrant visas; and oversee, coordinate, and review the work of immigration paralegals and law clerks. Requires: JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state or the District of Columbia. Must also have 1 year of experience in the following (may have been gained concurrently): Conducting legal research using INA, CFR, FAM, AFM and LexisNexis; Preparing H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, and J-1 Waiver (Conrad 30, AC and DRA) employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions and applications; Preparing PERM applications, I-140 (EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3) immigrant visa petitions, national interest waivers, adjustment of status applications, and naturalization applications; and I-9 review and verification process.
For Westchester County, the offered salary range for this position is $161,000 to $196,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
