Our Practice.

Our Government Contracts Practice Group assists clients in meeting the demanding and ever-changing regulatory environment of contracting with and providing procurement services to federal, state and local governments, while our International Trade Practice Group helps clients navigate the complex regulations and economic sanctions associated with a global marketplace. Our clients include public and private businesses ranging from small and emerging businesses just entering government markets to Fortune 500 companies with complex government contracting issues and international operations. We represent clients in a wide variety of industries, including aerospace, information technology, management consulting, defense, biotechnology, electronics, healthcare, construction, transportation, financial services, manufacturing medical, logistics support and cyber security. In 2021, Chambers USA ranked the firm’s Government Contracts group as a “Highly Regarded” practice in the Nationwide category.

Our firm is seeking an attorney with 0-2 years of government contracts and/or international trade experience for our Washington, D.C. office. Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and other federal procurement laws is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have familiarity and interest in export control laws, sanctions, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior experience with bid protests and appeals is considered but not required. Excellent research and writing skills, a strong academic background, and a demonstrated interest in government contracts are also essential. While the Washington, D.C. office is the preferred location, we will additionally consider highly qualified candidates based in our other office locations. The firm utilizes a hybrid-work model for all attorneys. Attorneys are encouraged to autonomously determine their in-office versus remote-work schedules while being responsive to client and firm needs as determined by their supervising partners.
