Our Practice.
Our Labor & Employment Practice Group counsels employers in labor and employment matters in three broad categories: day-to-day employment counseling, training and auditing; employment litigation; and traditional labor law. Our clients include union and non-union companies, as well as public and private employers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small, locally-owned businesses across a wide variety of industries. Our attorneys work closely with our corporate attorneys on issues that overlap both areas, such as severance pay, downsizing, collective bargaining, COBRA, family leave laws, and age and disability discrimination. We also provide our clients valuable information on best practices, developments and trends in the area of executive compensation. A significant part of our practice is litigation, in federal and state agencies and courts, of labor and employment issues including unlawful discrimination and retaliation claims, wage and hour compliance, breach of employments contracts including non-compete agreements, and unfair labor practice charges.
Join Us.
We are seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years of management-side employment law experience to join our team in either our Nashville or Knoxville office.
