Our Practice.
The attorneys in our Trusts & Estates Practice Group are highly regarded for their expertise in all aspects of estate planning and administration. Since estate planning involves much more than preparing tax-efficient wills and trust agreements, our trusts and estates attorneys regularly provide advice to clients on a broad range of both tax and non-tax issues, including family-owned and closely held business planning, asset protection, special needs planning and general family planning. Our clients include multi-generational families, executives at Fortune 500 companies, large privately-held family businesses, entertainers, athletes and entrepreneurs. We also represent numerous nonprofit organizations, including public charities and private foundations, with technical organizational and tax planning. Over the past few years, our attorney classes have grown dramatically from both the summer associate program and experienced attorney hiring, and our firm has grown to more than 200 attorneys in our Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis and Washington, D.C. offices. As we look forward to expanding our practice even further, we seek attorneys who can meet the challenge of developing our firm's community through a team-oriented approach.
The experienced attorneys who join our firm contribute greatly to our dynamic practice and to our ability to meet the diverse needs of our firm's clients. Depending on the needs of our practice areas, we are able to offer several options to attorneys joining from outside of our firm: lateral moves, reduced work schedules and staff or contract positions.
