Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a bankruptcy attorney with 3-5 years of business bankruptcy experience. The candidate will represent and counsel creditors and debtors predominately in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy matters. Responsibilities will include making appearances in bankruptcy court, managing bankruptcy matters throughout the state, as well as drafting or reviewing claims, objections, motions, briefs, pleadings, and other documents. Experience taking depositions and attending court hearings is required. Must be licensed in the State of Texas and authorized to practice before the bankruptcy courts in the Southern District of Texas.Additional Skills: The candidate must have graduated from an accredited law school with superior academic performance (at least two of the following: Tier 1 law school, top 25%, and/or a journal). Strong research and persuasive writing skills are required.
