GENERAL PURPOSE Perkins Coie LLP has an immediate opening for a Client Accounts Assistant position. This role will perform support functions for the Client Accounts team, including monitoring of shared mailbox and billing hotline and responding to external and internal client requests while assisting with special projects and providing additional support when requested. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation. As needed, work with firm and client support business professionals to collect and coordinate information necessary for client billing. Specific activities include, but are not limited to: Answering client inquiries by telephone and email. Managing billing hotline and finance help desk request traffic. Conferring with lawyers and legal staff regarding client financial data requests. Triaging and escalating requests to lawyers or other administrative personnel appropriately. Consistently monitoring and resolving assigned Help Desk tickets. Performing special technical projects as requested by Client Accounts supervisor. Always maintaining and demonstrating a positive attitude, serving as an extension of the management team. Being present at work during regularly scheduled working hours and as needed in the job position, consistent with the firms attendance expectations. SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED Ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing. Proficiency with MS Office. Present well on the phone and in video conference calls, as well as being personable, welcoming, and approachable. Ability to work in a client-centric, deadline-driven environment. SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERRED Problem-solving and system thinking skills. Ability to analyze and organize work for maximum efficiency. Strong eye for detail and critical thinking skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Requires 2 to 3 years of professional services or accounting experience and a 2-year degree or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
