We are seeking a junior associate to join our rapidly growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the Austin office, recently named by the Austin Business Journal as one of the best places to work in Austin in 2022 and the only law firm on the list. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as the funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders. Candidates should have at least two years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm. Candidates must have stellar academic credentials and references, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, math and Excel skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.
