Perkins Coie is seeking an experienced associate to join its market-leading Corporate group, working out of its Austin office. The group’s clients range from early stage startups to mature industry leaders and include many of Texas’ premier venture-backed and private equity-backed companies and the investors that support them. The recently-opened Austin office of this national firm is experiencing strong growth, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have particular need in the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial office environment while working closely with experienced practitioners on a national level.  Candidates should have solid academic credentials and at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally including start-up representation and experience in venture capital, private equity, and M&A transactions.
