GENERAL PURPOSE Working closely with the Director of Learning & Engagement, the Engagement Program Administrator will research, recommend, plan, and implement engagement programs and events to build culture, enhance morale, create connection, and improve the employee experience. The individual will also support department projects and programs as needed to achieve business goals and objectives. This position is available to applicants near any of our U.S. office locations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation. Plan and implement internal social gatherings and other connection events to generate and nurture culture and community across the firm. Provide event planning support to internal groups and manage meeting logistics as appropriate. Administer and plan town hall and other meetings for business professionals firmwide. Administer formal employee engagement programs, such as Great Place to Work, Gallup, etc., which includes planning and running census and pulse surveys, managing logistics, and supporting action planning and accountability. Use data and other metrics to define engagement program success and recommend improvement opportunities. Share in the administration of the firmwide onboarding program by giving new hire presentations, creating materials, holding meetings, and managing various logistics related to the onboarding and integration experience. Recommend, develop, implement, and manage programs and initiatives to support engagement. Source and select engagement program vendors. Manage vendor relationships as appropriate. Participate in the writing, editing, and distribution of internal articles, department newsletters, and other communications about engagement. Utilize presentation software, meeting platforms, facilitation tools, and other technology to administer engagement programs. Administer engagement program budget by monitoring and tracking expenses according to plan and assisting with the annual budgeting process. Be present at work during regularly scheduled working hours as needed in the position, consistent with the firms attendance expectations. SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED Ability to research, compile, design, and arrange materials for presentations. Ability to express oneself effectively, both orally and in writing, including giving presentations or hosting meetings as needed. Ability to establish effective working relationships throughout functional groups. Ability to prioritize work and respond efficiently to requests demonstrating confidentiality and resourcefulness. Ability to creatively develop morale-building activities and/or gifts to connect in-person and remote employees together. Ability to lead colleagues at all levels in the accomplishment of role objectives. Ability to use project management skills to see a project through from inception to completion. Strong administrative skills, high attention to detail, and strong customer service focus. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Requires a minimum of three years of experience working in human resources, development, or similar roles, including experience in working with employee engagement or other employee motivational programs. Experience in leading project teams required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable. Previous experience working in a law firm, professional services firm, or other service organization is strongly preferred. A bachelors degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or a related field is strongly preferred. This position may be filled in Colorado or New York. These ranges are specific to Colorado and New York, depending on qualification and experience and may not be applicable to other locations. Colorado compensation range: $65,510 to $97,330 annually. New York compensation range: $76,010 to $112,940 annually. Perkins Coie may provide a discretionary bonus annually and information regarding benefits can be found here.
