IP Associate (Patent – Biotech) (Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE Offices)

McCarter & English, LLP is actively seeking a biotechnology patent associate with an advanced degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmacology, and/or life sciences for its offices located in Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE. Candidates should have superior academic credentials and 2-6 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting biotechnology patent applications.

In addition to admission to at least one State bar, candidates should ideally be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. or graduate degree in life sciences, possess excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills and have experience in drafting and prosecuting biotechnology patent applications.
