The candidate will advise clients and contribute to and/or manage litigation matters on a day-to-day basis. Should have substantive, relevant experience, including the following: Counseling clients, litigating, and conducting trainings and internal investigations in connection with employment law issues, including discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, restrictive covenant, and leave and accommodation matters; traditional labor experience, including participation in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and matters before the NLRB, strongly preferred. Experience in drafting employment-related agreements essential. Experience in handling matters before government agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state and federal Departments of Labor needed, defending clients in single-plaintiff and class action employment-related litigation, advising clients on employment-related aspects of M&A transactions. Must also have significant experience independently handling motions and discovery, including experience taking depositions. Some trial experience is preferred. Admission to the NY Bar is required.
