Jackson Lewis is seeking aSenior Advice and Counsel Attorneyto join our Californiateam.

This position will sit in our Los Angeles office.

For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $231,000 and $247,000.The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

The ideal candidate must be:

• Experienced at conducting audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures.
• Skilled at drafting and revising incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans;
• Adept at drafting and revising policies, handbooks and other employee communication documents so that employees can easily understand what is expected of them;
• Personable and able to explain complex employment law issues in a way that can be understandable to a range of audiences;
• Creative and able to identify various problem-solving options, including the pros and cons of each option, so that clients can choose the practical and legal solution that works best for them; and
• Comfortable with understanding that clients may not always make the same decisions that you would.
