GENERAL PURPOSE Perkins Coie seeks a Senior Manager of Brand and Creative Services to champion all visual and storytelling aspects of the firms brand globally. This includes assuming a lead role in the firms active brand repositioning program, leading all aspects of brand implementation and governance, and serving as the go-to resource for knowledge, education, and ideas on all aspects of the brand. As the lead creative, you will drive innovation and evolution in the delivery of the brand and identify new opportunities and trends that align with the Perkins Coie brand positioning. More specifically, you will manage a talented team of designers, videographers, and potentially writers and content developers, who apply the brand strategy across a wide range of marketing assets. You will also help teams throughout the firm execute the brand in their areas. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Communications and collaborate with a wide range of peers and leaders across the firm. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS These essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation. Champion the brand across the firm in all applications, ensuring adherence to identity and messaging guidelines across all touchpoints firmwide. Ensure that the brand guidelines are routinely reviewed, updated, and communicated. Provide support and education to the broader marketing and business development team, as well as other internal teams, to ensure they are well-versed in the firms brand strategy and can effectively communicate with lawyers and others on brand usage. Own the end-to-end creative process of producing consistent, fresh, and relevant creative assets across all marketing media including the firm website, marketing collateral, presentations, digital and print communications, email, photography, video, events, advertising, and environments. Collaborate with a wide range of peers across the firm to ensure the brand is considered and the identity is applied properly. Serve as the creative liaison with the firms creative partners and agencies throughout the creative development process. Provide support and leadership to strategic marketing campaigns and select internal campaigns. Effectively and efficiently manage the creative budget and resources. Recruit, train, develop, and mentor team members, both regular and freelance, as required, ensuring the team is of the highest caliber within the category, delivering industry-leading solutions that support and drive brand awareness. Stay abreast of the latest developments in marketing communications, design, and advertising as they apply to law firms, and bring those ideas into the department for consideration and implementation. Perform other duties, as assigned. Be present at work during regularly scheduled working hours and as needed in the position, consistent with the firms attendance expectations. TRAVEL This position may require travel. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED Prior experience in leading or playing a key role in a major rebranding initiative. Deep understanding of what is required to launch and manage a large corporate brand across all touchpoints: print, digital and web-based, environmental, and video. Very positive, collaborative disposition with strong interpersonal skills, a crisp communications style, a team-oriented mindset, and a history of building and maintaining strong, positive cooperation with all stakeholders. Highly self-motivated, hardworking, problem-solving nature with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and responsive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution. Experience directing creative projects from the senior strategic level. Self-starter, able to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The ability to oversee and guide creative for a variety of mediums including web, mobile apps, events, video, photography, print, and email. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 10 plus years progressing in creative services roles in the professional services industry with experience managing and mentoring direct reports. Large law firm or corporate experience is preferred. Bachelors degree in design or related field. This position may be filled in the following areas, the compensation ranges in these areas are listed below and depends on qualification and experience. Perkins Coie may provide a discretionary bonus annually and information regarding benefits can be found here. Bay Area compensation range: $161,970 to $256,080 annually Colorado compensation range: $126,900 to $200,630 annually Los Angeles compensation range: $147,780 to $233,650 annually New York compensation range: $147,250 to $232,800 annually San Diego compensation range: $145,910 to $230,690 annually Washington State compensation range: $133,860 to $211,640 annually #LI-Hybrid Perkins Coie understands your career is about choices, not trade-offs.
