The Chicago office of Perkins Coie is seeking an associate with 2-3 years of experience to join our nationally-recognized White Collar & Investigations Practice. The associate primarily will assist in conducting local, national, and international-level internal investigations; responding to government inquiries; litigating and negotiating with criminal or civil enforcement authorities; and, on an as-needed basis, assisting with complex commercial litigation and other issues.  

Preferred candidates will have: (a) at least two years of experience in private practice working on complex litigation matters, preferably handling white collar work, securities litigation, or other civil/criminal regulatory matters; or (b) equivalent experience working for a government regulator/prosecutor’s office; and/or (c) service as a judicial clerk (federal clerks preferred). All applicants must have a J.D. with strong law school grades and excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
